1. Eligibility to apply

Applicants to the Global Art Practice (GAP) MFA program for international students at
Graduate School of Fine Arts must be of a nationality other than Japanese and meet
one of the requirements listed in the Guidance.

2. When to apply

Registration period for online applications and remittance period for screening fees:
Begins at 10am on Tuesday, August 2nd and ends at 11:59pm on Wednesday, August
10th, 2016.
Deadline for submitting application documents: Must be received by 4 p.m. on Friday,
August 12th, 2016.
If an applicant has difficulties meeting the deadline, he or she may consult with the GAP office before the deadline. Please see the above PDF for details.

3. Screening fee

Amount: 36,000 yen

4. Documents to submit

●Documents proving eligibility to apply
●Application Form
●ID Photo
●Personal statement
●Letters of recommendations
●Certificate of English language ability
and others.
Applicants also must submit their portfolio.

5. Screening method/Examination dates

We decide whether to admit a student based on comprehensive evaluations that
include assessments of academic abilities by the Graduate School and review of documents submitted by the applicant.
Deadline for submitting portfolio: By 12:00 pm(noon) Monday, August 22, 2016

6. Announcement of Results

10am on Friday, September 30th, 2016
(Successful applicants will be sent admission procedure documents around October 5, 2016.)
